MichaelSullivan > 2 Feb 08. I took a similar photo two years ago when I started photography....first picture I took. Taken from the ND side looking across the Red River.

MichaelSullivan > Something a little different for today - 26 Jan 08. I wanted to get closer for a better photo. The wire fence looked rather inconsequential when compared to the size of this beast. And I wasn't about to wade through deep snow as she already seemed irritated. This will have to do! ;-) To see the rest of the photos from this day trip see the gallery titled 26 Jan 2008.
MichaelSullivan > I'm constantly surprised at the popularity of this picture. This is the first outdoor picture with my 20D....taken late on a sunny winter afternoon in Feb 06 when I first started. That tells you how long I've been taking pictures. I had everything set to auto, the flash fired and it didn't take a picture. (So much for male confidence! LOL) The sun was going down so I tried again. Somehow, I had set the timer so I waited for the shutter to release. Obviously I was clueless but the results are nice. Very little has been done to this picture except cropping. Some minor adjustments in photoshop. The red was so bright that I had to tone it down. Enjoy!
